Design as a combination of aesthetics and quality.

Annette Lang, born in 1960, studied Industrial Design at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts. Then she moved to Milan where she worked as a freelancer from 1985 to 1988 for Matteo Thun, Antonio Citterio and Sottsass Associati. From 1988 to 1993, she was an assistant to proffessor Richard Sapper at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts and has been running her own design studio in Wiesbaden since 1988.

Her work focuses on the development and design of “consumer” objects in the fields of household utensils, tableware, office, furniture, lighting and medical technology. Annette Lang has participated in many national and international exhibitions and has received numerous awards for her work. She lectured at the Stuttgart Academy of Arts from 1994 to 1999.
